Playa del Carmen
Rio Secreto is the tour I insist on, so I compared the ways to book it. You wade and swim through caverns full of stalactites wearing a wetsuit, helmet and headlamp, always in a small guided group. Personal cameras stay outside, so decide upfront if the photo package matters to you.
Yearning for adventure? Uncover the mysteries of Rio Secreto with tickets that promise more than meets the eye, leading to a journey filled with surprises.

I use Playa as base camp: cenotes ten minutes inland, Cozumel across the channel, and tacos in between.
