Kazuraya Review

| | |

We found this gem of a ryokan tucked away in Japan’s breathtaking Iya Valley. Kazuraya offers a true slice of traditional Japanese living, complete with comfy rooms, mountain views, and relaxing hot springs.

It’s like stepping into a postcard!

While we loved most things about our stay, there were a couple of hiccups. The dinner, though tasty, didn’t cater much to vegetarians.

Also, getting here can be a bit tricky if you’re not used to navigating rural Japan.

That said, if you’re after an authentic Japanese experience and don’t mind being off the beaten path, this place is a winner.

Nature lovers and those seeking peace and quiet will be in heaven. It’s perfect for couples wanting a romantic getaway or anyone looking to recharge their batteries in a stunning setting.

This traditional ryokan features in our 3 favorite ryokans in Miyoshi.
